Our Mission
METG314 exists to ensure that Missouri's public officials follow the law, uphold their oath of office, and serve the people — not themselves. We research public records, file Sunshine Law requests, document ethics violations, and publish our findings for every citizen to see.
We are nonpartisan volunteers who believe that government accountability is not a political issue — it is a civic duty.
What We Do
From county commissions to school boards, port authorities to municipal courts — we follow the money, the meetings, and the decisions.
We file Sunshine Law requests, analyze budgets, contracts, and meeting minutes to uncover what officials don't want you to see.
When we document conflicts of interest, self-dealing, or misuse of office, we file formal ethics complaints with the appropriate authorities.
Our investigation reports are published for every Missourian to read — complete with source documents, timelines, and the officials involved.
County captains, researchers, legal reviewers, and community reporters — our network spans the entire state.
We provide nonpartisan education on government ethics, transparency requirements, and the Missouri Sunshine Law to candidates and the public.
Citizens can submit tips, concerns, and evidence through our secure intake process. Your voice matters — and we protect your identity.
